With 2024 behind us, and at the start of another year, it’s that time when we usually like to review what has happened for us in the last 12 months.

This year, we’re going in no particular order as we look to share our highlights with you. We might also leap forward a little too!

Farnborough Aerospace Consortium (FAC) membership

In September, we joined the Farnborough Aerospace Consortium (FAC). We’re already members of the North West Aerospace Alliance (NWAA), so this made perfect sense, especially as one of our Directors, Lesley, lives nearer to Farnborough. Not only that, but we also have a significant amount of aerospace experience on the team.

We’ve already started to attend their networking events and are looking forward to seeing what we can get involved in for 2025!

If you’re a member, then please come and say hello at one of the future events.

RAA event in Newport

Following on quickly from joining FAC, the start of October saw us travelling to Newport to the first ever Regional Aerospace Association (RAA) mix and mingle event. This was a great event where all the regional alliances came together and members met up to network and socialise.

It was a great afternoon (and evening) and we met some old and new faces. We’re looking forward to seeing if there will be another event like this in the calendar soon!

Cashflow Add-In

One of our favourite memories of 2024 was the release of our Cashflow Add-In.

This had been a while in the making and was the subject of our February blog. We love everything about the Add-In. Not only does it help extend the functionality of SyteLine and Cloudsuite Industrial, it showcases how our team is brilliant at collaborating to create something really special.

We showcased this at one of the SUG coffee mornings, so if you’re a member, you’ll be able to find details in the event archive. However, as a product it’s constantly evolving, so if you missed the original event, or you’re not a member, then please get in touch and we can talk you through how it all works, complete with updated features.

SUG/SIG events

2024 was no exception when it came to being involved in the SyteLine User Group events. We were at the annual conference again, meeting up with clients old and new. Not only that, we did another technical presentation, which we got some brilliant feedback from. We were also part of a number of the online events, including coffee mornings etc.

We are already looking forward to hosting some events again this year.

If you’re still on the fence about joining the User Group, then check out our blog here about why we love being part of it.

Velocity Summit

The end of October 2024 saw Jon, one of our Technical Team, go over to Amsterdam to attend the Infor Velocity summit. There have been a number of these events, and all have been well attended.

Jon was there not only to network but to find out more about some of the latest offerings from Infor such as Enterprise Automation/Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and process intelligence.

The latter would be useful to any Infor users who are looking to see where their shop floor team deviate from processes that they are supposed to follow. If you saw Amar’s presentation at the SyteLine User Conference earlier in the year, you’ll have already seen some of this being discussed!

Meet the team blogs

2024 was the year we also started our popular Meet the Team series of blogs. Kicking off with Mark, one of our technical team, these have become a great conversation starter. We know how special our team members are, so we decided to showcase them a bit more!

Our last one of the year was Ana, who had an interesting way to raise funds when she was studying in the Hague!

We’re working through the Consulting team right now, so keep an eye out on LinkedIn or our website for when new ones are released across 2025.

Looking forward to 2025

But this is not all about looking back. 2025 is shaping up to be just as exciting for us as a team as 2024 was.

Speaking of exciting, on the 29th of January, we’re hosting a webinar with our friends at Nutech! The team at Nutech will be covering how to implement a barcode data collection solution for SyteLine. Get in touch if you want to attend.

We of course already have several events in the calendar as part of our memberships. Perhaps the most exciting one is that we are off to the SyteLine User Network Conference at the end of February.

It will be the first time that we have attended the event, so we’re looking forward to seeing what it has in store. Both Lesley and Kath will be there, so keep an eye out for them.

We’re saving our best news to last!

We want to share with you the exciting news that Kath has been promoted to her new role as Head of Consulting. Kath has been with us for a little over four years and has been an integral part of our team since she arrived with us.

Kath is now part of our senior management team and will be working with our consultants and clients to bring even more value to what we offer.

Finally, we’d just like to wish you a happy and successful 2025!
