With their management team highly focussed on process improvements, it was identified that their business systems, consisting of bespoke manufacturing packages alongside a second application for financial accounts and payroll and a variety of spreadsheets, were holding back progress. It was decided that a new ERP system would help support growth in a market of increasing product complexity.
ERP System Selection. Having taken over the business as part of an MBO, Buoyant management recognised the risks and therefore decided to undergo an ERP system selection project. The new system had to handle all facets of the business from product design and change management, planning through to product configuration of orders, scheduling of shop floor on “make to order” basis, dispatch/transport planning, handling of customer issues and accounts.

They manufacture a wide variety of products including the hugely successful Intellicig, the electronic cigarette now sold in 26 countries worldwide.
Project management and ERP system selection support. Having grown since the early ’90s from eight to 280 employees and opened sites across the UK, France and the USA, Natural Power found their existing arrangements of systems could not satisfy their business requirements for future growth.
