This is just a reminder that Infor are depreciating the WinStudio Client for Infor SyteLine (CloudSuite Industrial).
This means that all support, maintenance, and services for the WinStudio Client will no longer be offered as of October 31, 2024.
The WinStudio Client (also referred to as Smart Client or Click-Once Client) has already been deprecated for some time. It is based on outdated server technology and requires a local client installation. The replacement for the WinStudio Client is the Web Client, which is designed to provide the same capabilities and will be continuously enhanced through ongoing Infor OS and ERP improvement initiatives.
What do you need to do?
Between now and October 2024, you need to make sure that you move all your users to the Web Client that is already available for use via the Infor OS Portal.
When the WinStudio Client is launched with the October (2024.10) release, a pop-up message will alert the user that the ‘WinStudio Client is no longer available and the Web Client should be used’.
